Nestled in the picturesque Garhwal Himalayas, Chamba is a serene hill station located in the Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, India. Perched at an altitude of approximately 1,600 meters (5,250 feet) above sea level, this quaint town offers a tranquil retreat amidst dense pine and deodar forests, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and peace seekers.

1. Tehri Lake

Situated about 19 km from Chamba, Tehri Lake is an artificial reservoir formed by the Tehri Dam, one of the tallest dams in India. The lake offers opportunities for boating, water skiing, and other adventure activities, making it a popular spot for tourists.

2. Surkanda Devi Temple

Located approximately 24 km from Chamba, Surkanda Devi Temple is dedicated to Goddess Sati. Visitors can reach the temple by a 2 km trek through lush forests, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The temple is a significant religious site and attracts numerous devotees, especially during the Ganga Dussehra fair in autumn.

3. Gabbar Singh Memorial

This memorial honors Thakur Gabbar Singh Negi, a hero of the Garhwal Rifles who played a pivotal role in World War I. The memorial is a tribute to his bravery and sacrifice, and it is visited by many to pay respects.

4. Kanatal

Located about 15.6 km from Chamba, Kanatal is a charming hill station known for its scenic beauty and adventure activities. It is an excellent spot for camping, trekking, and nature walks.

5. New Tehri

Situated approximately 56.9 km from Chamba, New Tehri is a modern town developed after the construction of the Tehri Dam. The town offers stunning views of the dam and the surrounding landscape.

Day 1: (Haridwar -Chamba)

* 8:00 PM, Pickup from Predefined place in Haridwar and move towards Chamba.
* Enroute enjoy the glorious Himalayan look of Himalayan from Narendra Nagar to Chamba. You can also visit Kunjapuri Temple, one of the 52 Shakti * Peeth located near Narendranagar.
* At Lunch Time, reach Chamba and Check-In your hotel.
* After some rest, get ready and head to Ranichauri. In the peach of nature just start a evening walk in between the nature and the small hill-village.
* 5:00 PM come back, have dinner and take a rest tonight here.

Day 2: (Chamba - Tehri Lake - Kanatal)

* 8:00 AM, have your delicious breakfast or Pahadi Bake in the hotel. then move to Tehri.
* 10:00 AM visit Tehri Dam and then reach near the bank of Tehri Lake.
* You can either spend your time in a silent boat around Tehri Lake or if you like adventure then choose various water sport activities at your own cost.
* After lunch, move towards Chamba.
* Check-In your Cottage/Camp and take some rest there.
* In the evening feel the nature of life while walking around the mountain valley. You can also like some adventure activities here.
* In late evening enjoy low volume music while sitting/dancing around the bonfire with your family/friends.
* In the winter season you can also experience snowfall in the Kanatal valley.
* Have delicious dinner under the open sky and around the bonfire then take a rest tonight here.

Day 3: (Kanatal Sightseeing - Haridwar Dropping):

* If you like jungle safari and walk up early in the morning and book a jungle safari to explore the forest area ‘Kaudia’. or you can also fo for nature walk before the sunrise high.
* After Breakfast, move toward Dhanaulti Eco Park
* 11:00 AM, Reach Surkanda Devi Temple ‘One of the 52 Shakti Peeth of Devi’
* 03:00 PM, start your return journey towards Haridwar
* 06:00 PM, Reach Haridwar where your Cab will drop you at a predefined place.
* After dropping, your unforgettable tour will end here.
